Flock Health Club

At Amethi, we run a thriving and successful Flock Health Club for sheep farmers. The club is inclusive and suitable for all flock sizes, whether you are a commercial farmer managing 200+ ewes or a smallholder who simply enjoys seeing a few sheep grazing outside the window.

Membership is designed to support farmers at every level and is run with the following aims and values in mind:

• Increasing client knowledge and practical skills
• Promoting a “prevention is better than cure” approach
• Inspiring best practice in all aspects of sheep health and welfare
• Creating a local network of like-minded farmers to share ideas and experiences

For just £20 + VAT per month, members receive:

• 1 planned vet visit per year (1 hour of vet time) – ideal for routine or preventative work such as tup MOTs
• A comprehensive, personalised Flock Health Plan – including support with additional paperwork requirements such as Red Tractor
• Veterinary Attestation Number (VAN) – required for selling animals at market or to slaughter
• 4 farm meetings/workshops per year – additional meetings available for £20 per farm once the four included sessions have been attended
• Unlimited worm egg counts – samples can be dropped off on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month (additional samples outside these dates will incur our standard fee)
• WhatsApp group and email newsletters – a space to discuss and share relevant information plus a newsletter to keep everyone up to date with hot topics
